Needed a break from commissions so I worked on some canon..
also some head canon.

Here is how I imagine Celestia and Luna meeting. Yes, meeting. My head canon is that the sisters are not blood related but became friends as adolescents during the great war between the Alicorns and the Draconequus (draconequii?) Once while cutting through the deep woods on her way to buy rations in Ponyville Celestia heard a scream. In a small clearing in the forest a small, blue alicorn filly was cornered by three large draconequus. Not wanting to see the younger filly be killed, adolescent Celestia leapt into the clearing, horn aglow and stood in front of Luna. She had no idea that at that moment she had met her best friend, her sister, and her closest companion through the eons.
